Ok, so yesterday I bought books for school and paid over $200 for only half of the books that I need. At first I thought “Well, it’s my education so its worth it” and didn’t complain. But then I stared to think of all the unemployed people who barely have money for McDonalds. We sit around and wonder why most of them give up looking for work after a few years. Well if you don’t have any skills or a trade, and you can’t afford a higher education, then your basically screwed! Why do we have to put up with that? I’m positive that that book I paid $138 cost like $45 to make including labor cost. Student loans, financial aid….that shit shouldn’t even have to exist if everything was fairly priced.
